Grab Tricks:

Indy Grab - The indy grab is one of the most basic grabs. It just takes practice to get it right.

1.) Remember to stay low before going off the jump and then spring off the lip.

2.) Pull your legs up to your chest and grab the board between you legs on the toe side of the board with your front hand.

3.) Land

Mute Grab - This is basically an indy grab but use your back hand instead and grab the between your bindings on the heelside of the board.
Stalefish - Grab the heel edge behind the rear leg between the bindings with the rear leg boned.
Method - Ollie on the backside edge of your board. Grab the board between your two heels with your front hand. Arch your back and take your board back. At the same time, try to keep your chest horizontal. Throw your hand as high in the air as possible

Backside 180 Indy - The 180 is usually the first spin move that beginners try. Make sure you can easily land a 180 first. Here are a few simple steps to landing the backside 180:

1.) Stay low when approaching the jump. When going off the jump keep the board on the base. Don't be on an edge!

2.) At the lip of the jump, spring off your toes.

3.) Pull your legs up to your chest and grab indy.

4.) Rotate slowly because you are only going to spin 180.

5.) Look down between you legs to spot your landing.

6.) Let your knees bend to absorb the landing.

Rail Tricks:

50-50 Railslide - This is a good trick to learn to grind, but you have to be able to ollie before you can do this trick and you are going to need good balance. Learn to ollie on flat ground first. Here are a few simple steps to the 50-50:

1.) Approach the rail with enough speed to ollie

2.) Ollie onto the rail. At the same time look down to the center of the rail and as soon as you are on the rail remember to bend your knees to become more stable. Control your balance with your shoulders and arms. Your going to be riding parallel with the rail.

3.) Ollie lightly off the rail and stomp the landing.
